Blood Draws, Giveaways, and Food Available at 2023 Wellness Fair

The 2023 Health Expo will be held on Wednesday, October 10. It will start at 11:30 AM at the Health Living Sports Center (Student Life Center) and end at 1:30 PM.

Over 30 campus organizations and departments, as well as community businesses and non-profit organizations, will provide resources covering eight aspects of health—emotional, mental, intellectual, physical, environmental, financial, occupational, and social—to students, faculty, and staff of the medical center.

Students can enjoy free beverages.

The San Francisco City University Student Senate is sponsoring a coffee cart at the 2023 Health Expo. The first 200 CUSF students to show their student ID will receive a free beverage of their choice. Medical center staff can purchase beverages, ranging from $3 to $5.

Health Panels Available for Blood Draws

The Regional Pathology Services of the San Francisco City University Disease Control Center will support physical health by providing blood tests for men's and women's health.

Self-registration will also be available on the day of the Health Expo. Patients may schedule their preferred tests online.

Patients should fast for 12 to 16 hours prior to blood draws. Only credit card payments are accepted, and payment is required at the time of the blood draw.

The Health Expo will offer the following test panels:

  • Women’s Health Panel (CBC, CMET, LIPID, TSH): $20
  • Women’s Health Panel + Vitamin D (CBC, CMET, LIPID, TSH, VITD): $23
  • Women’s Diabetes Panel (CBC, CMET, LIPID, TSH, A1C): $28
  • Women’s Diabetes Panel + Vitamin D (CBC, CMET, LIPID, TSH, A1C, VITD): $37
  • Men’s Health Panel (CBC, CMET, LIPID, TSH, PSA): $25
  • Men’s Health Panel + Vitamin D (CBC, CMET, LIPID, TSH, PSA, VITD): $30
  • Men’s Diabetes Panel (CBC, CMET, LIPID, TSH, PSA, A1C): $35
  • Men’s Diabetes Panel + Vitamin D (CBC, CMET, LIPID, TSH, PSA, A1C, VITD): $40

Individual tests available:

  • Hemoglobin (A1C): $8.50
  • Vitamin D (VITD): $8.50
